My work
Below are all of the different projects I have completed and am continuing to work on

Through My Shattered Lens: Healing in Frame & Words
This is a collection of photos that are the beginnings of a photobook/poetry book that I am created. These are all images I have taken over the years combined with different poems that I have written throughout my eating disorder recovery. Writing these poems was tool for me throughout my recovery to be able to better express my feelings as well as understand what I was going through. My goal with this serious is to potentially help anyone going through something similar and maybe inspire them to start their own recovery.

Hair
For this project I took photos of my sister doing the hair of my lovely partner. I wanted to really capture the feeling of what it feels like to get your hair down by @bohobeautyalexia

Teacup
For this project I wanted to photograph and remember my grandma. This teacup used to be hers.

Flowers
Flowers have always been some of my favorite subjects for photographs. So here is a compilation of all of my photos of flowers

Dancing Girl
For this project I took a piece of paper and cut out a silhouette of a girl dancing. I then took that piece of paper up to different objects and textures to fill in the girl.

Playground
This was my first Black and White project. I photographed my family: My brother, his wife, and kids, as well as my dad!) We went to a little playground in the neighborhood I grew up in and I just captured what was going on in the moment.

Weed
This has always been one of my favorite subjects to photograph. There is such a misconception about the consumption of cannabis and those who use it. For me and so many others it is used as a medicine to help us through our everyday life. I want to help bring that stigma and help to normalize its use.

Pet Portraits
I have always been a big lover animals and I want to capture the essence of the bestest of friends in our lives!

Miniature Library
For this project I wanted to photograph this little miniature library my partner created. They put so much work into making it and it turned out so well I needed to capture it through the camera lens as well!

Remembering
This still life project was a way for me to sit in the stillness. The oil lamp was a gift to my partner by their lovely grandmother. The dried up flower bouquet if from my twin sisters wedding where I was her maid of honor and we made our own bouquet. I love to capture objects that have special meanings and this one was no different!

History Edited
This was a project I did while I was in school for my BA in digital photography. I took famous photographs throughout history and I edited them in photoshop so they would only have one subject. I then placed the image I created side by side with the original. This is the result
